The eight fallen Czechoslovak Battle of Britain pilots remembered at the Northern Battle of Britain Memorial.
In June 2024, the Northern Battle of Britain Memorial, was unveiled at the Yorkshire Air Museum, Doncaster, Yorkshire.
It commemorates the 544 Allied airmen, of RAF Fighter Command, who lost their lives in the Battle of Britain, 8 of whom were Czechoslovak.
The Battle of Britain was between 10 July 1940 until 31 October 1940. The Eighty-eight Czechoslovak’s who had made the required operational flight during that Battle had flown either with 310 or 312 (Czechoslovak) Squadrons or with other British Squadrons in RAF Fighter Command.

Our thanks to FCAFA volunteer Keven, with Beth and William who visited this Memorial to place bouquets on behalf of FCAFA, in remembrance of those eight Czechoslovaks.
