To commemorate the 101st Anniversary of the birth of Josef František, wreaths and bouquets were laid at the Memorial at his birth house in Otaslavice. In 1940 he was the most successful Allied pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain; in one month he shot down 17 Luftwaffe aircraft.
