  1. 1 April 1942 F/O Rudolf Borovec of 19Sqn RAF based at RAF Ludham inNorfolk crashlanded Spitfire Vb AD 377 into Hickling “Broad”. He survived and was posted to 310 Czech Sqn at Perranporth.
    A group of aviation historians aim to locate and retrieve the remains of the plane buried deep in the mud. They have narrowed the crash site and have found batteries from the plane’s TR9 radio.
    The son of his 19Sqn. friend Jaromir Strihavka has visited the site.
    My query: Are there any surviving members of Rudolf Borovec’s family who might like to know of this search?
