V květnu byla na rodném domě pilota RAF plk. Eduarda Prchala v Dolních Břežanech odhalena pamětní deska. Přítomna byla i jeho dcera, která zavzpomínala nejen na svého otce, ale také na okolnosti jejich dramatického opuštění Československa v září 1950.

In May, at the birth house of Eduard Prchal at Dolní Břežany a memorial plaque was unveiled. Attending the ceremony was his daughter, who not only recalled her father but also about their dramatic escape from Czechoslovakia in September 1950.
