The Triple Hijack to Erding – 65th Anniversary

On the morning of 24 March 1950, three CSA DC3’s on scheduled domestic flights in Czechoslovakia where hijacked by eight former Czechoslovak RAF airmen to escape from Communist persecution.

It was the first triple aircraft hijack in the world.
