Jaroslav Sterbacek – the first Czechoslovak RAF loss


The 31 August 2018 is the 78th anniversary of the loss of P/O Jaroslav Štěbáček, pilot with 310 (Czechoslovak) Sqn. during the Battle of Britain.

Na datum 31.srpna 2018 připadá 78. výročí úmrtí P/O Jaroslava Štěrbáčka, pilota 310. (československé) perutě během bitvy o Británii.

He was the first of the 512 Czechoslovaks who lost their lives whilst serving in the RAF during WW2.

Stal se prvním z 512 Čechoslováků, kteří ztratili své životy ve službách RAF v průběhu druhé světové války.
