The annual commemoration of fallen Polish Airmen will take place

Každoroční připomínka padlých polských letců se bude konat

on Saturday, 7th September, 2013, at 12.00,

at the Polish Air Force Memorial, Northolt.

Wreaths will be laid by representatives of the Polish and British governments, local authorities, the Polish Air Force and the Royal Air Force. Veterans of individual squadrons will lay wreaths for each Polish squadron that flew alongside the Royal Air Force from 1940 to 1945; where no veteran is available, their descendants will continue the tradition on their behalf.

K památníku položí věnce zástupci polské a britské vlády, místní správy, polského letectva a Royal Air Force. Žádný veterán z polských letek, které v letech 1940 až 1945 bojovaly po boku královského letectva, se nemůže této slavnostní ceremonie účastnit. Proto věnce každé polské letky položí jejich potomci, kteří pokračují v tradici jejich jménem.

The replica of the wartime Standard of the Polish Air Force will be paraded and the ceremony will also feature a fly-past by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a detachment of Officer Cadets from the Polish Air Force Academy, Dęblin, trumpeter and drummer from the Central Band of the RAF, and the band of the Middlesex Wing of the Air Training Corps. This year it is hoped to have a significant involvement of young people from the various Polish schools in London, in addition to the Polish Scouts and Guides.

Slavnostního obřadu, který se bude také konat u Památníku bitvy o Británii se účastní zástupci kadetů z polské Letecké Akademie v Deblíně, kteří ponesou repliky válečných Standart polského letectva, trumpetista a bubeník Ústřední hudby z RAF a kapela křídla Middlesex na vzdělávání leteckého sboru. V tomto roce se očekává výrazné zapojení mládeže z různých polských škol a polských skautů a skautek.

The Memorial is situated at the junction of the A40 and the West End Rd., Ruislip. The nearest Underground is South Ruislip. The ceremony will be conducted in both English and Polish and everyone is welcome to attend.

Památník se nachází na křižovatce A40 a West End Rd. Ruislip. Ceremonie bude vedena v angličtině a polštině. Všichni jsou vítáni.

Dress: uniform, lounge suit or equivalent; descendants are encouraged to wear inherited medals on the right side of the jacket.

Oblečení: uniforma, společenský, nebo slavnostní oblek. Pozůstalým se doporučuje zděděné medaile nosit na pravé straně saka (bundy).
