V pondělí 14. srpna 2017 se od 17:00 hodin uskuteční na pražském Klárově u Památníku Okřídleného lva, který je věnován čsl. letcům RAF, pietní vzpomínka u příležitosti 72. výročí návratu čsl. letců z Velké Británie do vlasti. Ten se jak, známo, uskutečnil až ve dnech 13. – 15. srpna 1945.
At 5 pm 14 August, a memorial event will be held at the Winged Lion Memorial at Klárov, Prague, to commemorate the 72nd Anniversary of the return of the Czechoslovak RAF airmen from Great Britain to their homeland. This homecoming took place 13 -15 August 1945.
Vzpomínkové setkání tradičně pořádá ve spolupráci s Městskou částí Praha 1 Nadační fond – Evropské vzdělávací centrum armádního generála Karla Janouška.
This Memorial Meeting is traditionally organised in cooperation with the Prague 1 District Council and the Endowment Fund – the European Training Center for Army General Karel Janoušek.

Just curious – what about those airmen returning with the bombers later that year? They were forgotten on the CZ-RAF recent memorial in Ruzyně, will they be remembered in August then? Thank you and all the best, Milena
